I am a Graduate of HTW Berlin in applied computer science (B.Sc.). Nevertheless, I worked at various companies: I helped in IT-Support and saw very complex IT Infrastruktur, I do basic assessment with companies to ensure common cyber-security standards.
In the program, I was taught how to organize and implement projects, and common programming techniques were practiced and tested.
After completing the foundational studies, I realized that I did not enjoy laboratory work much as my fellow students. I took additional courses in computer science. Following this, I decided to change my major.
As a part of the Incident Response Team I'm still doing the Security Baseline Check, this means I'm checking with customers their current IT standards and if they meet the recommended cyber-security standard. Customers receive input to increase their IT security.
